Individually, students write a 1-paragraph Point-of-View statement and 1–2 How Might We questions for their quilt panel. They must reference at least one direct interview quote and connect the user need to a Civil Rights event, figure, or theme (justice, identity, community). This becomes the constraint guiding their upcoming design ideas.
