Students listen to a Louis Armstrong recording while viewing projected Romare Bearden collages. They create a quick 5-minute paper mini-collage from pre-cut images to express an initial idea of how music and art tell cultural stories. Class debrief surfaces assumptions about how people experience Black history through art.
