Using a structured conclusion template in their Clay Portrait Investigation Notebook, students write a 1–2 paragraph conclusion that directly answers their original research question. They must reference specific data points from peer feedback tables, describe at least one pattern and one anomaly, and state whether the evidence supports their hypothesis. Students include at least five domain-specific terms (e.g., proportion, texture, form, expression, relief).
