✏️ Crazy-8 Recipe Tool Sketches

Individually, students complete a Crazy-8s sheet, sketching 8 different quick concepts in 8 minutes for a recipe-scaling support tool. Each sketch must show how a user would multiply at least one mixed number (e.g., 1 1/2 × 3) and represent scaling visually (area model, number line, or grouping model). Students label where whole-number multiplication (up to 5 × 5) appears in the process.
