🔥 Heat Pump Investigation Kickoff

Students engage in a rapid scenario challenge: three community profiles (elderly homeowner on fixed income, apartment renter, school facilities manager) are posted around the room. In teams, students rotate, list assumptions about each person’s heating/cooling needs, and connect them to the Essential Questions. The class debrief surfaces how assumptions differ from real user evidence and introduces the week-long design challenge.
