In teams, students complete a rapid brainstorm focused on their team’s approved “How Might We” question. Using chart paper and sticky notes, they generate at least 20 distinct ideas for helping a local farmer adapt crop selection or rotation to environmental changes (e.g., drought-resistant crops, altered planting calendar, soil amendments, food bank partnerships, pricing shifts for Farmers’ Market Simulation Day). Quantity is prioritized over quality; no evaluation allowed during this round.
