🧱 Body Materials Bonding Sort

Students handle sample materials or image cards representing metals, plastics, rubber, glass, and composites, then sort them by likely strength, flexibility, weight, and cost for a car body. The teacher models how valence electrons and ionic or covalent bonding relate to material behavior, and teams use a Periodic Table, bonding diagrams, and test notes from earlier phases to justify likely best uses for each material. Students add one new question or insight to the reflection wall about materials and carbon footprint.
