The class rotates through short, teacher-guided stations with particle models, reaction cards, and simple energy demos to compare possible car power systems such as combustion, hydrogen-based reactions, battery chemistry, and solar-linked systems. Students use balancing tiles or atom cards to model one candidate reaction, identify whether energy is released or absorbed, and connect the reaction to how a car could move. Teams record which systems seem safest, most feasible, and least harmful for their intended user.
