⚛️ Materials and Bonding Evidence Lab

Using sample materials, a Periodic Table, particle diagrams, and a teacher-modeled comparison chart, students connect atomic structure, valence electrons, and bonding to car-body properties. Teams examine class test data on weight, flexibility, durability, and cost, then build a short claim about which body materials best fit their user needs. Just-in-time mini lessons support vocabulary such as covalent, ionic, reactivity, and durability immediately before students apply it to their design brief notes.
