🍎 Whole vs Processed Snack Observations

Content Expertise Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Submission Required

Students investigate their question about whole and processed foods by examining real food labels and/or observing class snack examples (e.g., apple slices vs packaged fruit snacks). They copy or draw one ingredient list item, circle added sugars or preservatives with teacher support, and record how they feel on a simple energy scale after tasting or observing (if tasting is not permitted). Conditions such as time of day and snack type are recorded.
