Submission Required
As a class, students co-create a large anchor chart listing design criteria for their upcoming Kindergarten Garden Habitat Model. Criteria include: plant placed in a clear location, sunlight symbol, water source, soil, and one way people change the environment (watering can, garden bed, shade cover). Students vote with stickers to prioritize the top three “must-haves.”

Student-facing instructions
Your task is to create a big chart showing what plants need most to live and grow. You'll use stickers to vote for what you think are the most important garden must-haves like sunlight, water, and soil. Discuss and decide together which ones will help our garden grow strong and healthy.
