Essential Question
In pairs, students practice a 1-minute explanation of their model or poster. Each child gives one compliment and one suggestion using picture cue cards (eye = make it clearer, sun = show sunlight, water drop = show water). Students switch roles and revise one part before a second quick practice.

Preparation (3 items)
- Prepare picture cue cards with clear images of an eye, sun, and water drop for feedback.
- Arrange the classroom in a way that pairs have enough space to talk without disturbing others.
- Print and distribute student-friendly feedback sentence starters (e.g., 'I like how you showed...,' 'Maybe you could add...').
Student-facing instructions
You will work with a friend to practice what you will say about your plant model or poster. Use your picture cards to tell your friend what you like and how they can make it better. Then switch and listen to your friend. Fix one thing on your work after you hear what your friend says.
