Students will engage in personal interviews with classmates to uncover diverse formative memories, then analyze these insights against themes from assigned texts to build empathy and understanding as a foundation for their narrative projects.

Students will work alongside peers, teachers, and community partners over two days to brainstorm and co-design creative concepts for their 'House That Built Me' blueprints, merging personal insights, historical contexts, and thematic connections from literary texts to expand the project's possibilities and enrich their narratives.

Students will conduct a peer-led evaluation session where they share their projects with classmates, offering feedback on the integration of textual insights and personal experiences, and testing the emotional impact and narrative clarity of their work-in-progress blueprints.

Students will participate in peer and self-assessment workshops where they share project drafts, receive targeted feedback using established critique protocols, and refine their designs with an emphasis on integrating literary themes, ensuring their narratives and blueprints intertwine effectively with their personal experiences and the texts studied in the unit.
