Story Concept Portfolio
Students finalize a concept portfolio that organizes multiple storytelling ideas into a clear plan for their digital multimedia project. In small groups, they produce: (1) brainstorm documentation (quantity over quality) of diverse storytelling approaches; (2) concept sketches or storyboards illustrating potential interview flows, multimedia sequences, and intergenerational storytelling moments; (3) a feasibility/impact matrix evaluating audience reach, technical requirements, ethical considerations, and potential community value; and (4) a Top 3 concepts with rationale linking back to insights from elders and peers. They attach empathy artifacts from interviews or prep notes and prepare a short plan for user testing or feedback with community members. This deliverable shapes the direction for prototyping and ensures proposals address real user needs.
