Students review their initial charcoal thumbnails and develop refined versions, focusing on composition, texture, and the indigenous motifs and natural scenes they are representing. They document changes in an iteration log that explains what improved and why, using both paper sketches and charcoal studies as low- and medium-fidelity prototypes.
