🌊 Storm Simulation Day: Ecosystem in Crisis

Submission Required

Students participate in a fast-paced storm response simulation using projected hurricane footage, water quality data shifts (salinity, turbidity, dissolved oxygen), and role cards (marine biologist, ROV engineer, conservation geneticist, policy responder). Teams respond to unfolding storm impacts on a coral reef ecosystem while examining real pre/post-storm datasets. Students record immediate observations and cause–effect hypotheses in their Marine Storm Investigation Field Notebook.
