In small groups, students conduct their first tea blend trial following their planned steps. They steep herbs for the agreed time, observe color and smell, and record sensory ratings using tally marks and smiley-face scales in their journals. Students note the date, steep time, and any unexpected results (e.g., very strong smell, floating leaves).
