Students present their final social issues brochures to an authentic audience that includes classmates, teachers, and community stakeholders. They articulate the issue, root causes, proposed solutions, and the impact of their research on understanding how voice can drive change. The presentation demonstrates the brochure as a final product and incorporates user feedback to inform future revisions. Assessments align with five rubric dimensions: User Understanding, Problem Definition, Creative Problem-Solving, Prototyping & Iteration, and Communication & Presentation.

Preparation (3 items)
- Arrange the physical space for the symposium, ensuring there is enough room for each group's presentation area.
- Prepare all necessary materials including a projector, speakers if needed, and copies of feedback forms for peers.
- Print and distribute rubric sheets for the audience to assess presentations as well as self and peer reflection sheets for students.
Student-facing instructions
Your task for today is to present the brochure you created with your group on your chosen social issue. Make sure to clearly articulate the issue, research findings, root causes, potential solutions, and the impact your research has had on your understanding of how to use your voice for change. Engage with your audience by using the feedback forms they will provide after your presentation. Reflect on both your presentation and the input you receive in your daily journal.
