Plant Detective Kickoff

Students explore an outdoor space to observe plant parts and discuss how form helps function. In small groups, they collect leaves, seeds, and twigs, sketch quick features, and name one plant trait that could inspire a human tool. A short Nature Detective game keeps bodies moving as students share simple ideas about how plants solve problems.
