Concept Portfolio and Rationale

In small groups, create a Concept Portfolio that captures a broad set of bird-safe window cover ideas. Gather brainstorming documentation (quantity over quality), develop concept sketches or storyboards showing user interactions and constraints, complete a feasibility/impact matrix evaluating each idea against factors like safety, cost, manufacturability, and urban aesthetics, and identify the Top 3 concepts with clear rationales. Ground the work in empathy for bird users and city stakeholders, drawing on urbanization research and Denison Nature Center insights. This deliverable lays the groundwork for iterative prototyping and peer feedback in later phases and will populate students’ Earth Day portfolios.
