Deliverable

Disguise Problem Definition

Submission Required

Students conduct a brief empathy interview with a classmate or observe a short masked scene to uncover user needs around disguise in Shakespearean comedies. They craft a Point-of-View (POV) statement grounded in a character’s experience, generate 3-5 How Might We (HMW) questions to frame design possibilities, create two concise user persona profiles representing different social positions affected by disguise (gender, class, status), and build a simple problem tree or systems map that links disguises to social dynamics and conflicts. The work is iterative: they receive feedback from peers and revise their POV, HMW, personas, and map to prepare for later analysis.
