School Design Expo

Students present their finalized environmental design proposals to an authentic audience that includes peers, teachers, administrators, and community stakeholders. They showcase empathy research artifacts (interviews, personas, journey maps), explain design decisions, and display sketches or physical/digital models along with a prototyped plan to reduce social anxiety during school transitions. The presentation includes a structured feedback session where audience members ask questions and suggest refinements. The submission and presentation align with rubric dimensions covering user understanding, problem definition, creative problem solving, prototyping and iteration, and communication and presentation.
