Narrative Exchange Kickoff

In small groups, students read excerpts from Fax from Sarajevo and Anthony Bourdain in Beirut, discuss context, conflict, and resilience, and interview a partner to capture a lived perspective as an empathy snapshot. The group then drafts a collaborative visual storyboard prototype that translates insights from both narratives into imagery and layout, highlighting how storytelling shapes understanding.
