Deliverable
Frame Armor Problem Space
Submission Required
In pairs, students craft a user-centered problem frame for the cardboard armor project. They develop a Point-of-View (POV) statement from the perspective of a historical user (e.g., warrior, craftsman, or traveler), generate 2–3 How Might We (HMW) questions that connect geography, technology, and culture to armor design, create a brief user persona, and sketch a simple systems map or problem tree that identifies factors shaping design decisions (materials, environment, tools, knowledge sources). The outputs connect to historical contexts and literary sources studied in the unit, setting the stage for iterative design and later feedback.
