Farm Field Trip Kickoff

Students visit Centennial Farm with guided exploration to observe animals and crops. They meet a farmer or helper, ask 3 simple questions, and record observations using pictures and simple labels. They create a quick empathy card (a picture-based map) showing what the animals or crops need and how the farmer helps. In small groups, students share one finding with a partner and add to a class observation chart.
