Haunted Rails Showcase
Collaborate in small groups to present your final Haunted Rails design: a documentary/mockumentary installation blending miniature environments, haunting soundscapes, lighting, and interactive workshops. Demonstrate how you transformed familiar model train layouts into chilling narratives, sharing your scripts, documentary footage, and the installation plan with authentic audiences including community partners, hobbyists, and domain experts. Gather and discuss feedback, reflect on how user input shaped iterations, and articulate how each design choice connects to audience needs. The presentation will be evaluated as a performance product using a rubric that covers user understanding, problem framing, creative problem-solving, prototyping and iteration, and communication.
