Meet real listeners by conducting short interviews with music enthusiasts and fellow producers to uncover which genres and elements make tracks memorable. Practice with a peer to test your questions, then interview at least one external participant or leverage a trusted network to collect 2–3 interviews. Create a simple empathy artifact (one-page map or notes) capturing what matters to listeners, their motivations, and pain points. Iterate on your interview prompts based on feedback and prepare to share insights with your group.
