Collaborate in a small group to define the core problem that will guide your script. Interview peers and Southwestern College contacts to surface needs tied to your characters. Produce a POV statement focused on your protagonist, craft 3–5 How Might We questions to explore design spaces, develop 2–3 user personas representing audience perspectives, and create a simple problem tree or systems map that connects research to your central challenge. These artifacts will fuel feedback conversations and help your team refine the problem statement before moving into script development.

Student-facing instructions
You will collaborate with peers to refine the 'Quest Problem' of your script. Begin by discussing insights from interviews with community partners. Then work with your group to draft a POV statement for your protagonist, construct 'How Might We' questions, develop user personas, and map out a problem tree that visualizes the research connections to your central challenge. Use these artifacts to guide script development and engage in a feedback session for refinement.
