Preparation (3 items)
- Ensure students have access to all previously collected pollution data and necessary materials for creating kit mock-ups such as paper, markers, and relevant tech tools.
- Coordinate with community partners to provide feedback and arrange attendance at the virtual presentation, either live or asynchronously.
- Set up virtual meeting tools and ensure all students understand how to use them for the upcoming presentation.
Student-facing instructions
Your task is to engage in a detailed analysis of the pollution data you've collected during field activities. Work in groups to discuss who is affected by pollution and clean-up efforts, and use this information to brainstorm features for a clean-up kit targeting identified pollution types and sources. Design a mock-up of your kit, and prepare a presentation to showcase your design and your understanding of the societal and environmental implications.
