In small groups, interview community bow makers and users to uncover real needs around bow making. Collect quotes, pain points, and success stories to build empathy artifacts. Develop a point-of-view (POV) statement that centers a user segment (e.g., novice woodworker, archery hobbyist, or craftsman). Form 3-4 How Might We (HMW) questions linking user needs to possible project directions. Create initial user personas and a simple problem tree or systems map illustrating stakeholders, constraints, and interactions (materials, tools, safety, time, expertise). Submit the POV, HMWs, persona profiles, and the problem tree. Present a quick feedback round to a mentor or partner from the craft community.
