Garden POV and HMW Studio

Students rotate through four hands-on stations to build a shared problem statement. Station 1 creates a kid-friendly POV for a garden user using simple drawings and short phrases. Station 2 generates 3 How Might We questions about improving soil health, access, and environmental impact. Station 3 makes illustrated persona cards that show garden users’ needs and feelings. Station 4 draws a simple problem tree or systems map linking soil quality, environment, and community. They apply ideas from a local farm visit and soil tests, and in small groups present drafts on a wall for feedback from peers and a visiting community member.
