Meet the Farmers

Students visit a local farm or invite farmers to the school garden to meet real people who grow food. They observe soil, plants, tools, and daily routines, listen to farmers share tips, and record sensory observations with simple drawings and notes. In whole-class and small-group discussions, they capture one insight they learn and one question they still have to guide their raised garden project.
