Geologic Data Analysis

Students collect data from diverse sources about their chosen geological time period and translate that information into visual data representations such as graphs, charts, and tables. They perform basic statistical analyses where applicable, identify patterns, and note anomalies, explaining how the data informs their developing explanation of historical geoscience processes and their impact on Earth's surface. They also record data limitations and plan how sources support or constrain their interpretations.
