Evidence Collection Log

Students compile a structured evidence collection log documenting data gathered from rocks, fossils, dating results, and in-class observations. They create raw data tables, observation logs, field notes, and photographs or documentation of samples, organizing sources and reflecting on data quality and how each item supports their research question. This deliverable primes their data collection for the Geologic Time Expo and aligns to Data Quality and Methodology criteria.
