This project aims to blend entrepreneurial skills with audio and video production expertise, enabling students to craft compelling business pitch videos that resonate with regional competition judges. Utilizing real-world learning with direct support from an entrepreneur and an AV specialist, students will collaboratively navigate every stage of video creation—from conceptualization to final editing. By focusing on entrepreneurial practices and production techniques, students will strengthen their abilities to convey ideas visually and audibly, enriching their preparation for successful business pitches.

Products
Over the course of seven weeks, students will collaboratively produce three regional competition-ready, 4-minute business pitch videos. Each video will incorporate audio-visual storytelling techniques to compellingly present their startup ideas. Throughout the process, students will generate and refine products such as storyboards, scripts, and draft video pitches, employing peer-teaching and feedback to progressively enhance production quality. Students will also develop and utilize self-assessment rubrics to evaluate their work based on both entrepreneurial concepts and AV production standards.
Launch
Kick off the project by screening last year's winning pitch videos, followed by a discussion to analyze what made them successful. Encourage students to critique these examples and extract lessons applicable to their own business pitches. Utilize these insights for immediate brainstorming of unique ideas, setting the stage for students to formulate initial concepts collaboratively.
Exhibition
At the conclusion of the project, organize an Entrepreneurship Showcase where students present their business pitch videos to a panel of local entrepreneurs, educators, and community members. Prior to the final presentation, students engage in an interactive Q&A session with the attendees, discussing their creative process and entrepreneurial concepts. Offer a celebratory reception following the showcase to encourage networking and feedback exchange between students and the audience, reinforcing connections beyond the classroom.
