Products

Students will create a comprehensive research paper that explores post-secondary options aligned with their personal interests, values, and strengths. Throughout the project, students will engage with community partners, such as the guidance office and local institutions, to gather insights and real-world perspectives. Additionally, students will present their findings in a final exhibition, showcasing their understanding of how unique choices shape their future paths in drama/theatre work and beyond.

Launch

Begin the project with an interactive panel discussion featuring local professionals and representatives from post-secondary institutions, coordinated by the guidance office. These community partners will share their career journeys and insights into various pathways after high school. Students will participate in a dynamic Q&A session, encouraging them to consider how their own interests, values, and strengths align with potential career opportunities. This experience prompts students to reflect on their aspirations and initiates their exploration of post-secondary options.

Exhibition

At the conclusion of the project, students will host a "Post-Secondary Pathways Fair," presenting their research papers and findings to peers, teachers, guidance counselors, and representatives from local institutions. Each student will create a display showcasing their personal interests, values, strengths, and how these align with their chosen post-secondary options. Students will engage in discussions, answer questions, and receive feedback from attendees, fostering effective communication and self-directed learning. This event will also allow students to critically reflect on their choices and explore diverse perspectives on career paths.
