Learning goals
Students will understand the significance of natural resources in shaping the trade, economy, and social structures of indigenous tribes in the desert southwest, eastern woodland, pacific northwest, and great plains. They will develop skills in research, collaboration, and multimedia presentation, using maps, artifacts, and oral narratives to convey their findings. Students will engage in critical thinking and problem-solving as they explore diverse cultural perspectives and historical contexts, fostering a sense of identity and belonging through self-directed learning and peer feedback.
