Rebel Readers and Writers

This RPLC unit focuses on informational reading and persuasive writing, using texts about changemakers, movements throughout history, and project content. This unit allows students to learn how to read informational texts, mastering their abilities to analyze a text, pull out a central idea, and share their learning with others. Through a deep understanding of what it means to be a changemaker in the world, the students will think critically about their project content and causes that they could raise awareness from within this topic.
