In this cross-curricular project, "Uncovering the Numbers", 12th-grade students explored what the phrase "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" means through the lens of a statistician and an economist. Students dug deep into economic principles that affect people’s lives and analyzed the data behind those principles to motivate others to take action by producing and publishing individual podcast episodes to be submitted to the NPR student podcast challenge.
